Cedar Cliff High School Class of 1987 — 20 Year Reunion

The day I got home from the reunion, I picked up a Bay Area lifestyle magazine and stumbled onto an article about a local 30th high school reunion. Normally, I probably wouldn't have read it, but for obvious reasons, it caught my interest. One paragraph in particular, seemed apropos. “‘We're picking up where we left off like it was only a year ago, not 30.’ Yet there is a difference: at the ten-year reunion people hung out in the same old cliques—the stoners, the jocks and cheerleaders; the drama kids; the band. Tonight, everybody mixes.”

It's hard to believe that the reunion is over or how quickly it passed, but it is, and it did. And it was a great!

It was great to see everyone together, to see so many old friends, and to meet the next generation. People flew from as far as Florida, Texas, Nevada, and California. Others drove from as far as North Carolina and Boston. And some who live in Central PA decided that day to make the effort. If only it could have lasted a little longer.
